Matías Kranevitter analysed the victory against Athletic Club, stressing the value of the win.
“It was a very difficult game but we were able to win,” he said. “We didn’t play to the level that we know we’re capable of, but we got the three points.
Kranevitter underlined the temprament that the team showed to keep a clean sheet after Vicente Iborra’s opener.
He explained: “We scored a goal and that was vital, we defended to the death until the final whistle. We’re used to playing another way, but with heart we were able to see out the game.”
On his personal form since joining Sevilla on loan from Atlético Madrid in the summer, the 23-year-old said: “I’m feeling good; I am at a big club which competes for big prizes.”
